Dr. Brent Nail, Athens GA Dentist
Meet Dr. Nail

Dr. Brent Nail, DMD, is a proud graduate of The Medical
College of Georgia where, in addition to studying to be a
general dentist, he participated in advanced oral surgery
studies. Admittedly a “perfectionist,” Dr. Nail takes great
pride not only in the details of dentistry but also in creat-
ing the absolute best experience possible for patients.

Dr. Nail designed Athens Oconee Dentistry as a thor-
oughly modern “paperless” dental practice utilizing state-
of-the-art digital x-rays and the latest technology. But he
never for- gets the “human” side of dentistry.Your comfort is
our priority. You’ll find televisions with a choice of movie
channels in every room, as well as Wi-Fi throughout the office.

Dr. Nail and his wife Mary Lynn both grew up near Vidalia, Georgia, where Mary Lynn’s father, a
dentist, still enjoys practicing. They are the proud parents of twins, and are active in Prince Avenue
Baptist Church.

Office Policies/Guidelines

Appointments Nobody likes to sit in the waiting room. So we schedule and reserve appointment
times specifically for you. Barring unexpected emergencies, we strive to see you promptly at your
reserved time and do our best to uphold our reputation for “running on time.” In return, we ask
that you arrive promptly and give us at least two days notice if you need to reschedule.

Payment Some patients prefer to pay for services in full with a check, cash or credit card. To help
provide payment options to patients, our office offers a liberal payment plan offering low monthly
payments through CareCredit.

Insurance As a courtesy to patients, we will also allow assignment of dental insurance benefits.
Before or at the time of service, patients pay the portion of the fee not reimbursed by insurance and
we will file for the anticipated insurance payment. Please understand, however, that the obligation for payment remains with the patient. Accepting reimbursement is simply a courtesy that we extend to
insured patients for 30 days after treatment. If an insurance company has not sent reimbursement to
the office within 30 days, we do request that the treatment balance be satisfied and ask you to contact
the insurance company and encourage them to meet their obligation. If you ever have a question about
a statement, payment or insurance reimbursement, please contact us. As your Athens family dentist,
we are here to help and welcome your inquiries.
